It's like...a computer? [Does Yona know about computers...She didn't read anything about that and is not actually sure.]

Sort of a huge, furry computer than takes up space on the couch. [And is cute and perfect for snuggling with after a long day. Shiho sits on the armchair nearby, arms crossing again almost defensively.]

...so what did you want to talk about? [Since she's sure Yona didn't come here just to cuddle with Wallace.]

[Computers can be fuzz? Will wonders never cease?

But Shiho's question brings her back down to earth. Right. The reason that she's here.]

Ah, yes. Well ... I just wanted to tell you that ... It's okay. You don't have anything to be sorry for.

[Her smile is weak but sincere.]

You just took me by surprise. My past isn't some kind of big secret.

[What she's sorry for is more that she read Yona at all. It was an invasion of her privacy and it bothers her that she'd done something like that and not even known at the time.]

[And because she's starting to ramble a bit, Shiho breaks off and looks to Wallace then to her own hands.]

pShiho freezes up as soon as Yona touches her hands. Willingly of all things and there's never been a way for her to switch off her psychometry so she can read everything Yona's thinking.]

[Weirdly enough, Yona had forgotten about that detail — her instinct to touch other people took over. But even after being reminded, she doesn't pull back.]

That's okay. I don't have anything to hide. [And she wants Shiho to know how sincere she is. She doesn't want the other girl to have any doubts.]

[Yona how dare you remind her of Kaoru!!]

[But despite Shiho's half-formed protests, she gives Yona's hand a quick, light squeeze.]

...everyone has something to hide, just so you know.

[Well, okay, this is true. There are plenty of things that Yona wants to hide from Hak, for example. But she just shrugs.]

[Shiho's blushing and this annoys her a lot but she's not doing anything about it or pulling away because she likes this point of contact and likes being trusted not to do anything with her powers or with anything she sees.]

I don't mean to embarrass you. I'm just telling the truth. [She squeezes Shiho's hand just a little, glad that she came. She had been afraid to face the other girl, but it really does feel much better to have everything out in the open.]

[Sometimes Shiho forgets that she's not the only one who's afraid, especially when her first reaction is to distrust people and to push them away. But at the same time, the fact that Yona had those same feelings and that their thoughts were so similar has her squeezing back just a little too.]

[Shiho stiffens when Yona pulls her into a hug because people actively reaching out to touch her and to be near her still isn't a thing that happens a lot and the fact that Yona was doing this so easily was just....

Shiho's blushing and she refuses to admit it.]

Y-Yeah. We don't want that guy getting worried or something.

[As she leaves]

I'm glad we were able to talk.

...I'm glad too.

[So is Wallace the CYbuddy wombat who snuggles briefly against Yona's leg before she leaves.]
